Context

The signing on June 29, 2016, by our CEO Jean-Laurent Bonnafé of the worldwide ILO network charter concerning Business and Disability and the implementation in France on January 1 of the third agreement promoting employment of the disabled are part of our overall policy of diversity, particularly as concerns our action to combat discrimination.

Objectives

Actively contribute in a lasting way to the training and employability of the disabled, as well as to their full membership in society; to do this, contribute to innovations and projects promoting the recognition of the disabled in daily life and allowing a change in common preconceptions.

APPROACH

The BNP Paribas Handicap Mission acts on two complementary axes:

Support and coordinate all internal and external stakeholders in the implementation of compensatory measures so that the employees concerned can access a professional career. These measures include a health service at work, social workers, appropriate IT, ergonomic buildings, experts and referenced service providers.

CONTRIBUTION TO COMPANY PERFORMANCE

Implement the necessary means so that anyone who is disabled can access the same level of information, training, employment and career continuity.
