Les Enchanteurs engage with the Green Charter

Context

Following a world tour in 2006, the founder of this independent marketing and communications consulting agency “Les Enchanteurs” decided, with his associate, to run the agency’s activity in an ethical environmental and societal manner.

Objectives

  •  Reduce the environmental impact of the agency and the one of its clients communication operations
  •  Generate loyalty among employees and improve their quality of life
  •  Raise awareness among stakeholders through "positive contagion"

APPROACH

Aware of sustainable development stakes, the associates approached “green” clients knowledgeable about Sustainable Development. Then they acted to reduce the environmental impact of the agency by creating the “Les Enchanteurs Green Engagement” charter.

Three phases of the Green® approach:

  • Identify the existing context
  • Amplify daily efforts
  • Share the commitment of the enterprise
  • The Les Enchanteurs Green Engagement Charter helps reduce the environmental impact of the agency:

    • Move towards zero paper, minimize use of consumables
    • Select service providers engaged in Sustainable Development
    • Sort wastes to generate value
    • Use ecological transport with an Enterprise Travel Plan and a V’Lille bicycle subscription for all employees

    To raise awareness among stakeholders, the enterprise provides the charter with each request for quotations and to each new employee.

    Beyond this Green® approach, Les Enchanteurs adopted a new model of governance to promote employee engagement:

    • Recruit young talents to share their values
    • Reveal and develop talent through collective intelligence
    • Share the wealth: profit-sharing plan and enterprise savings plan
    • Transparency in the company management to involve and promote loyalty of employees
